Insurance
Your coverage may depend on what type of plan you have. Not sure if your insurance plan covers acupuncture benefits? Tell us your information, and we will find out for you. If you are shopping for health insurance, let the agent know you are interested in a plan that covers acupuncture.
PPO Plan
Many PPO plans cover acupuncture treatment, including Blue cross, Aetna, Cigna, Kaiser
United Healthcare, Health Net, etc.
HMO Plan
Some HMO plans also cover acupuncture treatments, e.g. Landmark, Bluecross HMO (CaliforniaCare), Blueshield HMO, etc.
Auto Insurance
If you have any automobile accident related injuries, acupuncture treatments will be covered by your auto insurance if you have paid the medical premium or your own policy or if the accident was caused by the other party.
Worker's Compensation
If you are involved work related injuries, your acupuncture treatments will be covered by worker's compensation insurance.
